In fact, yes. If it’s director and choreographer Jenn Weber’s The Hip Hop Nutcracker, yes indeed it does.
From accomplished theater producer Eva Price comes an entirely fresh take on the classic story ballet, newly transformed through thrilling hip hop choreography and performed to the original Tchaikovsky score (with a few rhythmic surprises thrown in for good measure).
