Live From The Harris: Adrian Dunn’s Emancipation
We’d never heard or felt anything quite like the music by The Adrian Dunn Singers and the RIZE Orchestra. Once we did, we were determined to bring Adrian’s music to the masses. And in Live From The Harris: Adrian Dunn’s Emancipation, we’ve done just that.
The grounding yet uplifting power of Adrian’s particular blend of classical, choral, gospel and hip-hop will both root you into the earth and lift you off whatever you’re sitting on.
And sure, we could have just given you an Adrian Dunn concert, and your mind would be blown and your heart would explode. But then we thought, why not use television to do with the arts only that which television can do? So we let our viewers defy the time/space continuum. We present Adrian in the same place at two different times: one, surrounded by musicians and audiences as he brings his Emancipation concert to life; and the other, alone on the stage, reflecting on how his personal and musical journey brought him here.
And so just as the concert was about isolation, community and liberation, so is this Emmy Award winning special.
